Terms of Delivery

GENERAL

Products of the Speci online store are sold by Spesiaali Koot AP Oy. (hereafter ”Speci”), business ID 3364471-8. 

 

Speci ships to most European and North American countries (please go to Speci website’s Delivery section to see delivery countries). Consumer customers need to be at least 18 years of age. Minors can also order, but only if they have obtained the consent of their legal guardian to do so. We also accept other businesses as customers.

  
SHOPPING AT SPECI ONLINE STORE

Terms and conditions, as well as prices, effective at the time of ordering, shall be applied to all delivery contracts. Orders, which are shipped to EU member countries, are inclusive of VAT and orders, which are shipped outside EU zone, are VAT-free in accordance with the laws of Finland. Speci reserves the right to change prices of products and deliveries without prior notice. Special prices (offers, discounts, sales, etc.) are displayed on individual product pages, as well as in a larger grouping (on the site). Price changes only affect the orders placed after said changes have been published at Speci. Obvious errors in prices, which the customer can understand to be typographical misspellings, are not binding.

 

An order becomes binding only after Speci has processed and confirmed the order. Speci reserves the right to reject orders for justifiable reasons.

 

Speci is not liable for damage caused by force majeure. Force majeure is an unforeseeable event or change in circumstances, which are outside Speci control and which Speci cannot reasonably overcome. Speci shall not be liable for any direct, indirect or other damage related to or arising from the order, delivery or the product, except to the extent as otherwise stipulated by the mandatory provisions of the consumer protection law or by the mandatory provisions of other applicable law.

 

PLACING ORDERS

Products are ordered online at www.speci.fi by placing desired product or products to the shopping cart and paying the total price of the shopping cart via a payment service. All customer information is treated confidentially and will be used only for processing and delivering the order or clarifying possible ambiguities of the order. Before you can complete your order from the Speci online store, you will have to read and accept our Terms of Service.

 

PAYMENT

Payment transfers between Speci and customers are carried out by Checkout Finland Ltd. (business ID 2196606-6) in co-operation with banks and credit institutions. Checkout Finland Ltd. is an authorized payment institution supervised by the Financial Supervisory Authority of Finland (FIN-FSA) and part of the Finnish OP Bank Group.

The use of the Checkout Finland’s payment service does not require registration or any additional fees. Checkout Finland Ltd., which transfers customer payments to Speci, is shown as a receiver of the payment in customer’s bank statement or card invoice. 

All transactions are processed using secure and encrypted connections (SSL), which means that your personal information stays invisible to any third parties. Speci.fi online store does not store the customer's identity number, debit or credit card number or any such payment information anywhere.

ORDER CONFIRMATION

As the order and the payment are completed successfully, you will receive a confirmation of the order by e-mail. The Order Confirmation contains order identification number, payer and customer information, delivery method and costs, payment method, ordered products and price of the order. In order to receive the Order Confirmation, you should give your e-mail address when ordering. An order receipt is also attached to the delivery package. If you have registered as a Speci online store customer, you may review your order status and order history by logging in to a Speci member section.

 
DELIVERY METHODS AND COSTS

You will see the delivery cost for your order in the shopping cart. Speci.fi orders are delivered by Posti Group (the Finnish national post office), Oy Matkahuolto Ab (a Finnish bus and coach service provider company) and their international partners to a parcel pick-up point nearest to recipient’s address or directly to recipient’s home or to other desired permanent address. You can also pick up your order at Speci store. You can track the location of your order at any time with an item tracking code provided to you by e-mail.

 

DELIVERY TIME

The usual delivery time of orders, which are shipped outside Finland, is 3 - 8 business days. Usual delivery time to Finland is 1 - 4 business days. Speci is not responsible for any delivery delays or indirect loss of delays caused by reasons beyond Speci's control (force majeure). Abnormal delivery times will be notified at the Speci store’s webpage.

 

RIGHT TO CANCEL AND RETURN OF THE DELIVERY

If you are a consumer you have the right to cancel your order in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act by notifying your cancellation to us at the latest 14 days after you have received the goods, or the last lot of the delivery, or if it is a question of regular deliveries of goods at the latest 14 days after you have received the first shipment.


You must make your notification of cancellation clearly by sending us a cancellation notification including an order identification number and a product number(s) to our e-mail address info@speci.fi. We do not accept returns that have not been reported. The complete step-by-step instructions on how to return an item can be found inside each delivery.


You have to pay for the costs of the return of the goods. Such costs will not be returned to you.
The right to cancel applies solely to, and the goods returned shall respectively be set in their original package, be unused, and be well packaged for the return delivery.


If you cancel your order you have to return the goods promptly and at the latest within 14 days after the cancellation notification, to the Return Address mentioned in these terms below.  If needed you have to evidence that the goods are returned within the above mentioned return time (e.g. by showing the return receipt).


When returning the goods, please attach your bank account number so that we can pay your payment for your order back to you. We will return such payment promptly to you in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act.

INSPECTION OF THE DELIVERY, ERRORS AND PROBLEMS 

Please inspect the delivery received promptly upon receipt. If a product is missing or damaged during the transport or if the delivery is otherwise not as you have ordered or if there is defect in the product, please notify this to our Customer service promptly and at the latest within 14 days so we can agree how to correct the situation. Regarding defects related to products ordered by consumers we adhere to the mandatory provisions of the consumer protection legislation.
